Step 5 Assess Progress

When you take the Pledge, we ask you to determine the current status of your policies and practices in fulfilling the various Pledge commitments. For those areas that require additional efforts, you’re asked to create an Action Plan.  In late spring, we’ll ask you to complete a Progress Report to let us know how you’re doing.

A child care provider that completes all of the Pledge commitments will be recognized as a Jump IN Champion in multiple ways:

  • Media announcements
  • A “Jump IN Champion” badge to display on the provider’s website and in social media
  • A banner to display at your facility
  • Recognition at Jump IN public events, publications and materials

In addition, the child care provider will be eligible to participate in drawings for other incentives and prizes, including field trips or programs featuring local sports team personnel and mascots; equipment and curriculum materials; and grants.
