Step 5 Assess Progress

When you take the Pledge, we ask you to determine the current status of your policies and practices in fulfilling the various Pledge commitments. For those areas that require additional efforts, you’re asked to create an Action Plan. Near the end of the school year, we’ll ask you to complete a Progress Report to let us know how you’re doing.

A school that completes all of the Pledge commitments will be recognized as a Jump IN Champion in multiple ways:

  • Media announcements
  • A “Jump IN Champion” badge to display on the school website and in social media
  • A banner to display at school
  • Recognition at Jump IN public events, publications and materials

In addition, the school will be eligible to participate in drawings for other incentives and prizes, including school assemblies featuring local sports team personnel and mascots; equipment and curriculum materials; and grants.
